Expanded Learning Program

The Expanded Learning Program (After School Program) is dedicated to ensuring students are in a safe and fun learning environment. Students can expect to participate in engaging activities that will allow them to gain 21st century skills.
 
Staff
Program staff consists of one Teaching Fellow Tutor for each grade level. Tutors main focus is to aid students in homework and provide structured enrichment activities for students to participate in. 
Robotics with QuiqLabs
 
The second grade students are currently participating in fun and engaging activities that relate to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math). This course is 5 weeks long. Look at these students hard at work. 
Biola Strings
Biola Strings led by Licia Clark was selected to open at the Lights On event this year at Justin Garza High school. During this event all of the Central Unified School Districts Expanded Learning Programs had the opportunity to showcase what they have learned during their enrichment classes. Our Biola Strings students had an excellent performance and were proudly supported by their parents. Our program is making an impact on the students lives. Enrichment
During enrichment students have the opportunity to engage in fun learning experiences. Our program currently offers the following enrichment opportunities: Soccer, Culinary, Do It Yourself, STEAM, Robotics, Pearler Beading and Diamond Painting.
